Imaginarium Early Learning Bellbird Park
Imaginarium Early Learning was purpose-built for children. The rooms are spacious, light and airy. When children walk into a room, they can immediately see the play possibilities, find a comfortable place to be with friends, or simply read a book. Children learn best in environments where information and materials are presented to them in an organised manner. Every item has its place so children can access the wide range of resources, toys and books, and then simply put them away when they are finished. Older children can also leave incomplete projects, such as construction, and return to them when they are ready – an important consideration in encouraging second-phase thinking.
The outdoor areas are shady, and children have a wide range of choices such as climbing, gardening, digging in the sandpit, painting or sitting quietly. We are updating and adding to our play equipment regularly.
We have dedicated sleep rooms that allow babies in our care to sleep peacefully, without being interrupted.
Each day, the Centre provides education and care for 117 children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Children are placed in small groups with educators and children familiar to them so that they have a sense of well-being and belonging. These groups also take into consideration the children’s ages and developmental stages.
Imaginarium Early Learning at Bellbird Park operates 6:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday to Friday 52 weeks a year. It is closed on all gazetted Public Holidays.
